Purple Wild Flowers
Howdy everyone viewers I hope you will be fine and happy. So these are Mexican petunia flowers. If you want a plant that is a flower-making factory them this is your plant. Put this plant at someplace and then give it water it will grow a lot of flowers daily. According to my knowledge, it has 3 colors and I have all of them. Purple is a basic color it is found in the wild. Pink- Pink looks so beautiful and it not shocking pink it is a soft pink. White is pure and simple flowers. I think by mutation etc these two colors are made in wild they are only found in purple. They look so beautiful together. Today my purple plant has fewer flowers normally more flowers come on it then the other two. Now my Mexican petunias are dwarf variety plants. The beauty of dwarf variety is that they don't grow tall so they are easy to manage. The wild variety grows very tall so it becomes difficult to manage. Dwarf ones grow small in size and lots of flowers will come on them. To buy them you have to normally get them from the nursery. They are hardy plants and easy to grow. It's a perennial, it will remain evergreen if you save it from frost in Dec and Jan. Their leaves get damaged in frost season but the plant doesn't die and it comes back again in spring. Flowers will come on it in all seasons except in frost days. They need a lot of water to give them more water than your usual plants. When you bring them from market transfer them to 10-inch pots at home. I think 10 inch is the best pot size for them. Give them water almost daily and if the soil starts to dry give them twice a day. If they get a good water a lot of flowers will come. One thing that you have to do for getting good flowers is, don't disturb their position often. These flowers grow according to the sun so if their position is unchanged they will grow good. If you change their place, again and again, it won't be good for them I think. They can handle the heat but the intense heat of noontime is not good for them. Their buds will burn and become dry before blooming in the intense summer heat. There are some dry buds in my plants too that didn't bloom due to heat. Give them some shade at noontime in summer days. Morning light is very good for them until 10 or 11 pm on hot days. Mexican petunia is half-day flowers they bloom early morning and then die at 12- 1 pm. Then the next day again a lot of them will grow. On cooler days they will live a little longer but in summer days 12 pm is the max they will stay alive. So they have a short life. For soil they can almost grow in every type of soil just It would be a good drain. Give them liquid fertilizer once every month in the summer season. Give them plenty of water and they will give you a lot and lot of flowers. Thanks for watching take care bye
